Colette lived a life many of us live each day. Busy. Busy taking care of others. Busy as an overachiever. Busy as a wife, mom, pastor’s wife, college student and more. The stress became so great within her that anxiety and panic attacks became part of her daily life. After a life changing experience, God began to change her mindset to His plans for her life. Her story is encouraging to those of us who try to do everything and are overwhelmed with stress. Change is possible. God has more for us than living overstressed and trying to live for the approval of others. Her story and message will inspire you as well to make the changes needed in your life to let go of being a perfectionist.
About Our Guest:
Colette Schaffer is known for her down to earth, straight-talking style of preaching and teaching the Word. She is also the author of Expecting Jesus: An Advent Devotional. Colette has been a pastor and teacher of the Word of God since 2006 after graduating from Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, OK. She and her husband are considered home missionaries as they currently pastor New Hope Church, located in Timber Lake, SD on the Cheyenne River Reservation. Colette and her husband, Bryce Schaffer, have been married since 1995. They have three outstanding adult children and a new daughter-in-law: Ethan and wife Lillian, Callie, and Nathanial.
