Episode 68 - Hope After Brokenness II
Thursday Jan 27, 2022
Thursday Jan 27, 2022
Join Kristin and her guest, Amy Straley as they discuss the struggles of being in a pattern of abusive relationships and the redemptive power of God who transformed her life. Amy transparently shares the broken places so her story can minister to others. This is Part 2 of a 2 Part interview.
About Our Guest:
Amy Straley is a single, full-time working momma of two teenagers making her way through the world by following after Jesus. This was not always the case as divorce and post-divorce decisions took her far from the God she had been introduced to as a child.
After one poor relationship choice after another God took her to her knees in confusion, heartache and longing for a different way. There broken, she met Jesus Christ who would eventually take up residence as the love of her life. This did not happen overnight, as she had to walk through redemption, sanctification, and finally restoration.
Her story is a story that could only have been written by a relentlessly faithful Author.

Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Join Kristin as she shares 8 Tips to Finding Your Word for the New Year. This has been one of her most popular teachings on her blog over the years and you will not want to miss this episode. As 2022 is upon us, what direction, what word or phrase do you have for this coming year? Over the past few years there has been a movement of change in how we view the new year coming in and our focus. For many, New Year’s Day is about resolutions, goals we plan to focus on for the upcoming year. The down side of resolutions is that we often set ourselves up for failure instead of new beginnings. With resolutions we focus on what we need to change, what is wrong, or habits we need to do no more. Transforming our thinking to finding a word, theme or phrase for the year empowers us to move into new thinking, new seasons, and new growth. These powerful tips will equip you to partner with God for your life in 2021 and find the right word for the New Year.
