Episode 23 Becoming Chainbreakers From our Past
Thursday Feb 18, 2021
Thursday Feb 18, 2021
Join me and my guest Lauren Crews as we talk about the process of her breaking out of the chains and generational curses of abuse and unhealthiness. Those chains can be carried on in our own families, but Lauren did the work to breakout of old patterns she was raised with. Lauren shares her brave story of pursuing and trusting God with her life as he transformed her from one growing up in abuse to one who is restored. This show is for all who have been raised in unhealthy family systems who are ready for healing and restoration in their lives.
About Our Guest:
Growing up, Lauren faced physical and sexual abuse, neglect, and parental rejection. This combined with rape as a teenager, convinced Lauren that she was a complete disappointment and unusable by God. But God's love and faithfulness challenged her to trust Him and walk with confidence into her calling as a wife, mother, teacher, and author. Her message is that our struggles do not disqualify us but equip us to be the exact women God can use to build His kingdom and yes, to even be Proverbs 31 women.
