Kristin Clouse is a licensed professional counselor, pastor, speaker, trauma, life and spiritual coach, and podcaster with over sixteen years’ experience in the mental health field. She is the author of Healing for our Soul Gardens: Restoration and Wholeness After Sexual Abuse, which has been used by individuals, counselors, and for small groups in churches. She now has a leaders guide and training available for those interested in leading a small group in their community.
Kristin has an online course as well, Fully Restored from Abuse, which walks women through their journey of healing over 12 weeks. She is a contributing author for the She Writes for Him: Stories of Resilient Faith book. Kristin also can be found on her show, Fully Restored Podcast each week. She lives in Kentucky with her husband of 32 years.

About Our Guest:
Iris Peterson Bryant is a writer, speaker, educator, podcast host, and adoption advocate. She and her husband are the parents of four children and have one adorable grandchild. She has served as an educator in the public schools of North Carolina since 1998. Currently, she serves as a district-level Instructional Coach, providing support for high school English and Social Studies teachers.
In addition to serving as the chief encouragement officer for those who follow her on social media. She also co-authored the book, How I Got Over, with four other inspiring women. She loves coffee, milk chocolate, and watching the sunrise—preferably at the beach!
She firmly believes God’s promise in Romans 8:28, and she desires to help others believe and apply that truth to their lives. She desires to help women maximize each moment and season they encounter and show them God doesn’t waste any of our experiences--whether good or bad.
Iris and her husband, David, reside in eastern North Carolina.

My guest, Terri Hitt, shares her story of joy, loss, and family. Terri bravely shares of her story of the loss of her adult daughter and the journey of adoption her and her husband went through after their children had become adults. Terri and her husband continued to be led by God for their family and with that God gave them the beautiful gift of children through adoption. Their story will encourage you to follow God’s leading, even when it seems impossible, and how God’s blessings come from our obedience.
About Our Guest:
Terri Hitt is a wife, mother to 4 children, a grandmother to 1, and is in love with Jesus. Terri shares her yearning for women to take each moment captive for eternity on her weekly podcast, “Live With Eternal Perspective.” Already a follower of Christ when her oldest daughter passed away unexpectedly at the age of 29, Terri experienced the provisions of God in a deeper and more personal way through her deepest loss, and now mentors others to be intentional about eternity daily.
Terri and her husband married right out of high school, raised two biological children, and are now raising their two daughters from China. They have been married 43 years. Their youngest daughters are homeschooled, and Terri cherishes helping her daughters find and use the gifts and talents God has given, but her deepest joy comes in teaching them to deepen their personal walk with Jesus. Terri also owns an online watercolor print, card, and original pet portrait business, Melane and Co. with her middle daughter, Marissa, the artist and spends most mornings playing and building Legos with her youngest daughter.
